B) if anybody is interested in a Steadicam DVS.. msg me. i be selling mine shortly. the DVS has colour LCD, rechargeable batteries and works well with cameras under 6 pounds. i never had problems with my sony vx1000 but if you search the net, you will see the XL-1 users weren't able to us the DVS. it's a good system for mini dv or lightweight cameras. i'll let it go for much less than a merlin but slightly more than a JR. everything mint in a original box. i just have to find the manuals and verify that the rechargeable batteries are still functional.
