FS: 3 Nikon manual focus lenses.
1) Nikkor 24mm F 2.8 AIS, MINT $200 CAD
For years, this lens has remained as clear favourite among many Nikon photographers. Being considerably lighter and more compact in its size, the lens shares the same angle of view with its faster version version Nikkor 24mm f/2.0s, it uses standard 52mm lens accessories, incorporating the similar Nikon optical innovation of rear optical lens elements correction system which enables it to maintai the high optical performance throghout the entire focusng range from a minimum distance of 0.3m to infinity(OO). It does has quite a few extras factors where it excels its faster Nikkor f/2.0 counterpart. However, witholding all these positive factors within its compact size, this lens only costs halve of the faster Nikkor 24mm f/2.0 ! There are a big pool of Nikkor followers who believe strongly the f/2.8 lens actually out performs the faster f/2.0 optically. Although I would not want to challenge such intelligence because everybody is entitled to his/her own view but then I did try to understand why so many people have a differing opinion at these two wideangle lenses with essentially similar configuration except in their respective maximum aperture - I might conclude what they actually meant could be referring to value for money where a comparison is made side by side among what both can offer to a photographer.
2) Nikkor 16mm F2.8 AIS, MINT $560 CAD
The faster full-frame 16 mm lens has a radically different optical formula from its predecessor, and this helps give better corner sharpness and even image illumination. Flare is extremely well controlled. This MF Nikkor Fisheye lens can produce images with unusual perspective and powerful fisheye visual across the entire full-frame film format. Some of the significant advantages over circular type fisheye lenses are: the relatively fast speed of f/2.8 makes it ideal for color photography under poor lighting conditions. Second, this lens is made extremely compact and light weight and it has an absolute advantage over the circular counterpart which generally are bulkier both in size, weight and handling. Thirdly, it has close focusing ability and focuses down to 0.3m (1ft) and it is useful for creative photography if use wisely with the right photographic subjects.
3) Nikkor 50-135mm AIS, MINT $300 CAD
This compact and extremely well-made lens is among the few zooms that have a non-rotating front thread thus making life easier if a polariser is applied. Very sharp and contrasty images are produced by this design, that unfortunately was discontinued after a short period. It yields great images with a 6T close-up lens, too. Optimum results occur at f/8, but even at f/22 a good image quality remains. It is a one-ring zoom that handles extremely well on all Nikon cameras. Flare is well controlled and ghosting is negligible as a zoom goes.
Glass perfect, body/paint perfect. Both lenses come with front and rear cap. If you want Canon EOS/Nikon adapter for your Canon DSLR it is $50 CAD extra per lens.
Shipping and PAYPAL extra, local pick up preferred in Toronto (RIverdale)...
