Take a look at this crazy lens. Must have cost a lot to manufacture back in the day, but its selling for a song now.
This is a Vivitar zoom lens 75-260mm constant F4.5 aperture - pretty slow.
Vivitar is a third party brand name but in the 1980's they were resellers for such reputable lens makers like Komura and Cosina.
Mint optics. Look at the nice focus witness marks it gives you. Also a built in hood on the lens. Length of the zoom does not increase as you change focal lengths and the zoom collar is separate from the focus ring.
This is a heavy well built lens good for outdoor telephoto shots.
You screw the lens onto the tripod plate, and the camera is what hangs on since its a lot lighter. Or you could mount it to your 35mm adapter with Minolta MD mount, and support the weight with rod supports.
Just trying to clear out my lens closet. Asking $40 plus $14 for US shipping.
I take paypal, cashiers check, money order. Personal checks allow two weeks to clear.
