I used to have one of these, one of the best and most versatile amps I ever owned.

It really is. My father in law swears by his Komet amp (Google them; they're amazing) and was giving me the "Mesa's crap" routine. That Komet crapped out at a gig one night and who did he call, haha? I've never heard a Mesa sound so clean and Blue-sy. Anywho, I really hated to get rid of it but that HPX dented my savings pretty bad. Sold the cab, heads useless now.
