FS: Merlin Steadicam

Hey folks,

I sold my dvx a while back and haven't really used my steadicam since so I'm looking to sell it. Anyone know how much I should expect to get for it?
Let me know if you have any offers, I may put it up on ebay soon.

If anyones interested, I may post some pictures later.

Is this supposed to be the best and lightest steadicam on the market? I used a glidecam the other day at our wedding for a few minutes, and I'd need a new set of arms in a few minutes after carrying that beast around for a day. Yikes!

Honestly, it depends on the camera. The heavier the camera, the heavier the steadicam will be so that it can balance it out.
I used a DVX along with this and it was roughly 8-9lbs. It got to be a bit much at times but I never had too much of an issue.

I've heard that with the vest/arm attachment you can barely feel the weight, but I've never used it and this sale does not come with them.

As far as the "best". For the price, I found this thing to be amazing. I held onto it even after selling my DVX a year ago in hopes that I would buy an HMC150 and use it for that... but I have a mortgage payment coming up.
 
I imagine this would be fine with it, as it has multiple settings and the HMC40 is also a bit lighter.

I would google "merlin steadicam hmc40" and look up what other people have said about using the two together.

Dude have you changed your mind? It shows you've been online tonight so if it's sold or you are not interested in selling it, please PM me or mark the listing as SOLD so I can buy elsewhere. Ignoring my PM is hurting my feelings. :crybaby:
