I bought a matrox rtx-100 extreme a while back and wound up not using it, i went with just the plain 1394 port (dual xeon, just didn't need the realtime board)

it is just like new, just a handful of hours on it.

includes dongle for plugging in various a/v, firewire cables etc.

does NOT come with adobe premiere pro etc.

$500 takes it away.

Re: FS: Matrox rtx-100

I'm a little fuzzy on what these cards do exactly. Do they just take away render time from PPro? Does it work with other Adobe applications? Does it allow you to set up a preview monitor straight out of the card?

Re: FS: Matrox rtx-100

it lets you do many effects with no waiting for it to render even on a slower machine.

if you goto the matrox site they have some pretty good documentation on the features.

my machine is way overkill so rendering isn't an issue.
