I used this on my jib for framing and focus, probably no more than 20 times, but have switched over to SDI. Color is not the most accurate, but useful nonetheless as an under 2 lb. monitor for general viewing
There have been 2 mods performed on this unit
#1-There is a regulator on the back of the lcd screen-you can change the dip switch settings so that #6 and #3 are on this will overdrive the led's by 50% which will make it a bit brighter.
#2-While I had it open, I rotated the housing 180 degrees around the electronics, because the bottom thread was slipping in the housing, (pic shown) so now they are on top and "new" threads are on bottom.
