I'm selling a nicely maintained, gently used, recently collimated, PL-mounted, arri pitch ff-geared, semi-rare Lomo 20-120mm T 3.2 Zoom lens (made in the former Soviet Union in 1989--S/N 890035 ). Glass is in remarkably immaculate shape, and the mechanics are robust. Lens was used just yesterday on re-shoots for a Red-shot feature: Treasure of the Black Jaguar

The Lomo OPF18 zoom is a highly underrated lens, comparable to the Cooke 18-100 in optical quality, but with signature characteristics all its own. If you are looking for an inexpensive alternative to the legendary, pricey angenieux 17-102 or the Cooke 18-100, then look no further.
As Berenger Brilliante points out in a post earlier today on reduser.net (http://reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?t=41400&page=2), this is "one of the top end lomos. Nice optics, and this time mechanics are really well made, you can pull focus easily with a meter without worrying about backfocus problems."
I bought this Lomo 20-120 zoom from filmmaker Karl Kim back in late 2008. It was exactly as advertised....

Back then, it had a Oct 19 mount. I purchased the PL mount from www.spbsale.com, and had Paul and Matt Duclos install it.
The lens support is setup for 15mm rods. It is a combination of the factory Russian bracket and a bottom from Cavision.
The lens comes with a rolling Pelican case and a 2.1 extender. The 2.1 extender currently has a Oct-19 mount, but according to Paul Duclos there's a way to convert it to PL. (If memory serves, the Duclos quote was about $750)
ASKING (for a limited time only): $2300
This item will be 'priced to move' for about a week.
After that, I will go the Ebay route with a higher fixed price 'buy-it-now' auction.
