Selling my Letus35 Flip Enhanced with Pelican 1300 Case for $550. In great condition, comes with nikon mount cap and a cap for the 72mm thread. Buyer pays for shipping from L.A., or you can pick it up.

im very interested... what kind of condition is it in? why r u selling it? how many hours of usage? pics? etc?

i like to buy one, but i hate the flip image ......can anyone tell me the big secret about flipping the image and none flipping

The unit is in good condition, and I've taken good care of it. I'm selling it because I've bought a Brevis35 for a feature, and I don't need two adapters. I needed the extra light sensitivity and the extra lens mounts, but I'll definitely miss the flip feature in the Letus, which is really, really so much easier to get along with. I haven't logged exactly how many hours I've used it - I used it on a feature documentary and like 5 short films in the past year that I've owned it. So it's seen some good use, but I haven't used it everyday or anything.

I'll post some pics of the Letus later when I get home.

If you end up buying it, I'll give you all my notes from using it. As you may have noticed, there's not a lot of documentation to be found on it.

Yia, this unit provides a correctly oriented image to the camera - so no flipping the image in editing or having to use an upside down monitor during production.

P.S. I forgot to mention before that this unit has the swappable Nikon/Canon mount, with the 72mm filter thread.

hey, does this adapter need supporting rods or do they came with supporting rods system...
 
The adapter neither comes with nor does it require supporting rods, although it would be a good idea to use them.
