FS: Letus Extreme with FD Mount and lenses

[Huy Vu]

I'm selling my Letus Extreme (72mm thread) to get the money toward an SGBlade. The unit was serviced by Letus in June and is in excellent working conditions. There are some minor chipping on the edge of the glass that goes between the thread, but this doesn't affect its performances at all. I've just shot two films with it with no problems. Here are some stills:

The Extreme comes with the new Canon FD mount (where you don't have to do the toothpick trick to your lenses to get iris control), the Letus V1. Rod Support Bracket and two lenses, the FD 50mm f1.8 and the FD 24mm f2.8.

The price is $900 + shipping + Paypal for everything. I am willing to split the lenses but ONLY if the Letus is sold first.

I'll get pictures up tomorrow. Thanks!

PS: This is NOT the optimized achromat for EX1/HVX.

Letus no longer available for sale. The two lenses are still up for grabs.

how much for the 50mm?

[Sevenonline]

does that mean Letus sold, or did you change your mind about the Blade?

I found a deal on a sweet lens (85mm f1.2L) so I've decided that the Blade can wait. I'll probably still be putting the Letus back for sale at some point.

Hi longshanks, to be honest I was hoping to sell both lenses as a pair. The 50mm 1.8 is a really inexpensive lens (about $20) and it's probably not worth the effort for you to pay shipping for and for me to ship it. If you're local (Berkeley or San Jose area) then you can come by to do a cash exchange.

I'll be adding another lens (85mm f1.8) to the for sale list next week so keep an eye out for that.
