Notes:
The overall condition is excellent as everything has been well taken care of. The bearings on the dual articulated arm are liquid smooth throughout the entire range of motion. Both arms are adjustable to raise/lower the rig to put cam at center of chest as you would expect. The wrench that came with it is included. The socket block is fixed and uses a bolt to secure the arm. The nut is included but is not necessary for use.
Hardware on the articulated arm was originally bright plated. I touched up the nuts and bolt ends by hand with flat black paint to tone down the appearance. That is the reason for the slight discoloration on/around the fasteners.
Either the Backpack or Vest can be used to secure the Chest Plate/Support Bracket. The vest size is large. They were only available in small or large at the time I purchased. I found that small was too small and large is a bit too large for me. The vest could be more snug for my build (I'm thin) if I were to cut back a few stitches at the attachment points of the shoulder straps. I never actually did this. Instead just used it in a less that snug manner--go figure. Everything packs into the backpack for storage and transport.
If I had anything to criticize it would be that the shoulder straps did not snug up enough for my size and one of the two DVDs included has issues playing properly. Other than that, I adapted this thing to fly a Merlin and got surprisingly good results for a beginner.
Reason for Selling: upgraded to a Steadicam system. Raising funds for new tripod.

wow i am selling one just like that...I cant believe you are willing to get rid of it for 900 bucks...for that i would keep it as a back up its a good system and honestly i don't think its worth giving it away for $900...Put it on ebay, you might have to spend a little to post it up but you will get MUCH more for it there (IMO)... Good luck...

O yea and here is a free bump...

Well thanks for the kind words Javi (and the bump). Yeah, it is a good system and yes, it is a giveaway at $900. Just wanted to pass the opportunity on to other dvxusers first. If nobody wants it, will probably go the ebay route and try to get what it is worth.

I've looked at both postings, so clear this up for me. Javi is including a sled, so wouldn't he ask for more money? Don't get me wrong--I think they're both good deals--but, without the sled, wouldn't you guys be pretty close in price?

Good question.
Actually, he is, and we are.
The difference in price is due to the sled and we are comparable when you factor the sled in or out of the equation. The sled alone from Indicam is $475 which is comparable to the Glidecam 4000 at $400. My rig would be suited for someone who already has a Merlin, Glidecam 2000, Glidecam 4000 or similar sled and wants a dual arm support system for better mileage. Considering the lack of a sled and the condition of my rig, I actually have it under-priced. My motivation is a new high dollar tripod and I need the funds to get there.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. Wish I had the money right now, I'd snatch this up in a hearttbeat! They are both very good deals. I think the users always appreciate first shot at good equipment, even if they can't afford it at the moment.

Good luck to both of you. Bump, bump, bump....

Ooops I didn't notice you where not including the sled. Can't believe I missed that...Still a great price..
