Selling my original HVX-200 Camcorder as it has been made redundant with my new HPX-171. I'd like to sell this as a package but would consider splitting if offers were good enough. Here's what's on offer:

1x HVX-200 Camcorder (01376 hours of operation, mostly in P2 Mode)
4x 4Gb P2 Cards
3x P2 Stores
8x HVX-200 Batteries
1x Panasonic Mains Charger/Power Supply
1x Zacuto Follow Focus Gear with Hard Stops (attached to Camcorder).
1x 82mm to 72mm reduction ring on lens (I can't get it off). Has no impact on the performance of the camera just being as honest as possible here.

£2995 (GBP) for everything. Shipping cost's and PayPal fees (4%) would be added over and above.

The picture attached is of the camcorder but obviously doesn't include the SGPRO, Matte Box and Tripod. It does show the Zacuto Lens gear though.

Thanks.

Hi,
How much for just the HVX200 on it's own?
Would you not be willing to add the follow focus unit you have pictured to the package?

I'm open to offer for the HVX on it's own. It's been a good work horse and is far from perfect but does the job that it's meant to do.

I'd consider selling the Follow Focus and look at replacing it with the new Arri Compact one. If it was to seal a deal with the HVX then YES I'd look at selling it....Are you interested? You'd still have to look at getting rod support system for the Follow Focus to mount though and I ain't selling the base plate.

When you say the HVX is far from perfect, what does that mean?
I realise 1376 is A LOT of hours use, but is everything still in working order - ie. tape mechanism, lens condition, focus ring, zoom, iris, lcd, mic, hot shoe mount, bottom screw thread, view finder, and all that kinda stuff? Also what kind of physical condition is the outter casing in? It's hard to tell from the picture so any other closeup photos you have would be useful. A bit of visual wear & tear like the odd scratch, scuff or dint doesn't worry me too much but if it was really battered then it would.

I have an SGpro rev.3 too so i have my own rods & baseplate and have been looking for a decent follow focus now for a while. Can you give any more on your follow focus?

thanks.

Pop-out LCD has marks over it but still functions (Camera assistant decided to clean it with a cloth that had some dirt lodged in it) The battery tabs have been snapped off and re-glued but this was a generic problem with the first generation of HVX Camcorders and as previously mentioned the 82mm to 72mm step down ring is pretty much fixed to the lens. I can't free it up. Some paint chips on the carry handle and the tape mechanism I'd say is hardly used. I pretty much dedicated myself to the P2 work flow as soon as I got the camera. Hence my replacement with the HPX-171

None of the defects affects the Camera's performance. I still use it on two camera shoot but it is a luxury keeping it for jobs that are few and far between.

The Package price reflects the hours and the defects. Don't expect a brand new Camcorder.

Forgot to say, I still have the original Box for the camcorder and the Manual too.

Hope that answer your questions.

Sorry missed that part of your question.

The follow focus is mint. I'd expect to get at least £900 (GBP) just for the follow focus. It's that good (condition and fuctionality). Brand new they are about $1400 (US) which is around £1200 (GBP).

But again, I really don't want to sell the follow focus as I do use it all the time and I'd have to replace it with the Arri Unit probably but if it was to secure a deal then I'd look at selling it with the package.
