I'm selling my HVX package
because I'm no longer working owner/operator jobs
. I have babied the camera. It has lived in a Pelican case its entire life. The optics are perfect. Nothing other than Pancro has been used to clean the lens. I've only used the tape heads for one job so they are incredibly fresh.
This is a full camera package meaning you could walk on set directly after buying it and start shooting. I purchased this camera early and have 2 4gb P2 cards. Yes they are small, but at 720pn 10mins a card (so 20mins total ) it's really workable for narrative stuff. (Just have the client rent cards if it's an issue).
All the little extras really make this package. If you carefully watch both volumes of the HVX boot camp (Barry Green's instructional DVDs) you will completely understand the camera.
