The tripod in the Vistek picture is not quite the same...it has levers instead of knobs to lock the legs. Any other differences in either the legs or head?

Good catch. It's the same model numbers though which is odd. The only other difference I can see is that the rubber feet on mine screw in and out to expose the metal tips. Looks like the link one just has rubber feet.

wow looks like a nice tripod for my hpx170,i have a used old d&s from a garage sale i got for $50 but i can use this one with a dolly.
