I have a 35mm static adapter for sale. It's the Go35Pro static adapter, with Nikon mounts, a 72mm thread for cameras like the DVX and it comes with a Pelican case. Asking $100 plus shipping.

This is actually a really cool adapter. So small and its image is gorgeous.

i had two at one point.... but keep one around for the "look" just incase its neccesary someday.

72mm mount will fit the HPX170. So this adapter is static but it had little grain from the ground glass? Interesting. I'm thinking about it. No rails needed right?

Rails aren't needed, unless you need accessories like a follow focus or matte box.
