I Bought this head for a project and we never got to use it due to time and space. Brand new and willing to let it go for 1500.00. Paid 1899.00 for it. Flawless condition and works amazing.

what exactly is a "vista head w/remote" is that a head
or a steadicam/glidecam. I am sorry if i seem stupid
but I am just ignorant really.

Its OK man! Its a head that you can mount your camera on, for a jib or crane. It has a remote box that controls the head vertical and horizontal motion. Glidecam makes it.

How does it mount? I have the Cobracrane jib and it only has a screw mount, not a bowl mount.

I owned the varizoom pan/tilt head before and that worked fine.

Yes it is still for sale and its pretty much the same as the varizoom head. It has a plate with 4 adjustable screw holes.You over or under sling it.

I have a cobra crane too and I have mounted it to it before for a test with some modifacation to the plate on the crane.Too bad we could'nt use it on the project we bought it for.

What kind of modifications did you make to allow it to be mounted to the CobraCrane camera plate?
