Up for sale is my Glidecam 2000 Pro I purchased from B&H in March 2009. I used it with my 5D2 for the past few months, but I needed a bigger one to support more weight so I upgraded to the HD4000. This unit is in good condition and works perfectly. Comes with all the original parts. sold

i might be very interested in this, but i plan to use it with a 7D so I am just wondering if i will run into the same issues as you did? why do you need something to handle more weight? are you adding heavier lenses or what? i think the 7D is 2.5 pounds, and I think the 2000 Pro holds 6 pounds so what 3.5 pound item are you adding that makes you need something new? sorry the long post, please pm me or email me at futureloss at yahoo dot com

the 7D will work perfectly with the 2000 pro
the reason why I switched to the HD4000 is because I've added a shotgun mic, 18" rails+riser plate and a matte box, which became too heavy for the 2000 pro
the weight of my 5D + 24-70 2.8L is about 4.5 lbs and the extra accessories added around 3.5 lbs (the 2000's max weight support is 6 lbs)
