So I just bought the Rode Blimp suspension system and it doesn't quite work with my boompole due to the locking mechanism. Any standard shockmount will work with this boompole, its just the layout of this Rode system that is odd.
Gitzo G557 Aluminum 4 Section internally cabled boompole. XLR cable is tested and works fine. No damage to the pole and all of the sections open up smooth and lock completely tight.
New they are $133 on amazon and it looks like its not cabled... asking $100 shipped anywhere in the US paid by paypal. PM me or email me at dustinraysik@gmail.com if you are interested.
