Also includes 8 x Fullspectrumsolutions 24W CFLs with ~94 CRI, and 5900K (just add your own 8 additional CFLs to make 16). Can be powered in banks of 8, so 8 could be the included 5900K, 94CRI, and 8 could be Home Depot ~3200K.

I am curious about these lights. Any comments you can provide now that you (presumably) have had a chance to play with them?

Is there any reason you couldn't use larger diameter bulbs in every other socket? Do you think total power consumption would be an issue?

No, that would work fine; use larger ones in every other socket, but I believe they also have a 9 bulb version, so maybe that might be the better choice if you wanted to use larger bulbs, as long as it uses the same frame size. Not sure.
With 16 x 24W 94+ CRI CFLs, this thing puts out some nice light!
