FCP Academic Version 5.0 upgradeable to 5.0.4
$350 + Shipping.(you do not need to qualify for the academic version to buy and use mine)
What is this?
This is a fully licensed (used), everything in the box, academic version of FCP 5.0 Upgradeable to 5.0.4 (which allows you to capture P2 cards). The academic version is a full version which is identical to the non-academic version.
Who is this for?
This is for
A) someone with a G4 or G5 Mac that wants to ingest P2 cards and doesn't want to spend $1200 right now for FCP6 Got a laptop with a slot for a P2 card but don't have FCP at all or running an old version? Then say hello to my little friend.
or
B) someone that wants an incredible deal on a fully version of FCP - i.e., not express, and doesn't wan to spend $1200. This is the next to latest version for non-Intel Macs and is very bug free.
what's else do I need to know?
While the academic version is eligible for free upgrades within it's version (5.0 to 5.0.4) it is not upgradeable to FCP 6. So like I said this is for someone who wants to take advantage of P2 on a G4 or G5 mac or who just wants a full feature version of FCP for low $.
