FS: DVx100b and Glidecam 4000 pro!

I have a Dvx100b with 144hours on it in near mint condition. i just got a brand new lens put on it and had it serviced. all work was done at an authorized Panasonic dealer. i have receipts if you want to see them. the dvx comes with two 5 hour batteries and a raincoat. $1500 dollars obo.

Barely used glidecam 4000 pro. i just don't use it as much as i should therefor i am letting it go. $300 dollars. SOLD

a plastic piece that holds the focus ring and the thread mount on broke. i believe from use with the 35mm adapter and just maybe bad luck? (those things get really front heavy with some big lenses on them.) this camera was never dropped or treated wrongly. its in near mint condition and has always worked well. so really its better then it was before now. i would like to add i am no longer using this. its just sitting here waiting to sell.
 
You mean to tell me you cannot buy the plastic ring that strips near the focus ring? You have to purchase the WHOLE lens assembly? Where was the repair facility? I have take mine apart due to a similar problem but I am hoping I can get the plastic front ring only. How much did that repair cost?
 
one of panasonics authorized dealers. i think it was in kansas? thats what they told me. i was pretty shocked about the whole situation and how a little plastic bracket could effect a whole new lens when the piece doesn't have anything to do with it. all it seemed like the camera needed was a new focus ring and the plastic bracket. what can you do though? it cost 1000 dollars to fix.
