I just bought this camera 5 months ago for $2500. I've only put 46 hours on it but I've been absolutely amazed at the footage I've gotten. If you really want your shots to look like film instead of video, this is an AWESOME camera to do it with.

It's in perfect condition and the only reason I'm selling it is because I have an opportunity to buy an HVX200 at a great price.

I'm in the LA area and am asking $1700. I'll pay the shipping to anywhere in north America and throw in an extra battery as well.

If you're near LA and want to pick it up in Studio City, I'll sell it for $1650.

I bought if from US1 camera and yes, the warranty is good for 1 year, so 6.5 months left on it.

That's a Manfrotto tripod in the picture.

No Panasonic warranty is transferrable and to become effective, the product must be first registered showing sales receipt and purchaser. There are no execptions to this policy.

Price reduction to $1700 and I'll pay the shipping (north America only).

If you're in the LA area and can pick it up at my house in Studio City, I'll take $1650.

The concern here is the place where the seller purchased it. I would suspect, after reading all the complaints with US1 camera that this is like a grey market camera. Meaning it could be a refurbished or previously used camera with no way to trace where it has been or who owned it.

Best of luck to the seller but would strongly suggest caution given the origins of this one.

the proof that this camera is NOT grey market is the fact that Panasonic was offering a reabte of $250 and BarryGreen's DVX book which I qualified for. Why would they send me a $250 rebate on a camera that was grey market.
