Very low-use, excellent condition Panasonic DVX-100A camcorder. $1,300 OBO
I purchased this camera to get into indie filmmaking, but my main career kept me too busy. I've hardly used it, so it's in fantastic shape.
The DVX100A contains a 3-CCD image sensor system. The camera can record 24p, 30p, and 60i video onto inexpensive ($5 each) MiniDV tape. The camera incorporates "CineGamma" functionality to approximate the characteristic curve of film. The DVX100A is a major upgrade to the wildly popular DVX100. It features a true 16x9 anamorphic filming mode, and corrects a 2-frame audio sync problem found in the original model.
The DVX100A also features two XLR audio inputs, another rare feature for cameras in its price range. It includes a 4-pin FireWire port, as well as S-Video and RCA in and out ports. It features manual and servo zoom, with a second zoom control and record button on top of the handle for recording from low angles.
This model comes with a pro-quality soft case, several blank tapes, Barry Green’s DVX Book and DVD, mini white balance cards, chest support to aid longer hand-held shots, shotgun microphone shock-resistant suspension adapter, and four extended life 7-to-8-hour batteries.
Accessories are also available:
Century Optics wide-angle lens adapter (which cost $700) $350 OBO
CineSaddle $175 OBO
Indie Dolly Track system $175 OBO
Varizoom Flowcam GT steady-cam system - $1700 OBO
Cinetactics Matteblox soft matte box, 72mm threaded adapter, 2 filter holders, regular and oversize French flags, $100 OBO
