what did you do for the cavision to accept 16:9 adapter. Does it accept side flaps?

I really like the look (and price) of the cavision unit and hope it would fit nicely with my .7x century optics. Is it still for sale

The modification was, I cut away the circular mounting ring and opened up the inner ring to a square to accomadate the Panasonic lens. Yes, you can buy side flags for the box, or i'll just give you the ones I made. I honestly don't know if your wide angle lens would work, but the Mattebox is still for sale.

Check your local Rental house. They usually sell them, these are Bluestar.

Would u be willing to trade me that there Dvx100,and a battery, for my Vx1000 in great cond. brand new Century Optics .3x fisheye with a value of 800 alone, a bescor 50,100 watt light and a sony 10-20 wat light also, with all the cables and battery for the camera? Plus like a hundred dollars on top of all that.

Thats a shade for the LCD screen made by Petrol, that one was made specifically for Panasonic. You can pick them up at any good Video supply house. I got mine from a place in Toronto called the DVshop.
