Ok so I really don’t use my DVX and it is a shame to have such a nice camera sitting around. Here is what I have for sale:

DVX 100b in perfect condition with 4 hours on the head and all accessories.
Extra 6000mah battery
3 new DVM63MQ's (all I use)
Bogen/Manfrotto Tripod 3182 legs / 503 head / 3502 leveller / 3056 dolly

New all of this would cost over $3700

My price $3000 for the package. NOW $2750

Will I brake the package up.... some items (see below).

The only way I will brake this up is:

Camera, filter, extra 6000mah battery, tapes, all original included accesories, and case $2300
Complete tripod package $600

Assuming the pictures look alright, and the equipment is in good shape, I'll take your tripod package immediately for $600.

Just seeing if you were open to negotiations, if you aren't that's fine. No thanks on the express camera though
 
I’m open to negotiations but I am not desperate to sell. $2000 is just way to low for a camera with 4 hours on the head as well as $250+ worth of extra accessories.

As for the condition of the tripod package, everything is in great shape. There are a few scuffs here and there but everthing works great.

DVX panic has indeed begun. I sold mine last week, and not a moment too soon. But you should try eBay...DVX B's are still getting top dollar there.
 
yea what is up with everyone selling their dvx?? Im selling mine because I do not use it enough.... I hate to have something so nice go to waste.
 
used typically in television to describe the moment in time when a show that was once great/respected reaches a point where it will decline in quality/popularity.

for example: during the Dave Mirkin years, The Simpsons was my favorite show. Then Ken Keeler took over and alas, The Simpsons jumped the shark.

The Canon XHA1 is doing to the DVX what Ken Keeler did to the Simpsons. It's sad, really...because that front heavy POS is killing something truly beautiful.
 
Oh c'mon, I would hardly call the A1 a POS. Barry Green certainly doesn't think so. Yes, the DVX is a work of art, but it is its resolution which is killing it, and the A1 is taking up the slack because it has the best price/performance out there.
