Selling my used custom/professional built stabilizer rig.
12 volt system.
Price = $6500.00 OBO plus shipping.
SLED;
gimbal weight capacity 50 lbs
2 stage 1.5" extendable carbon fibre post.
micro adjust top stage with 2 dovetail plates.
2 adjustable V lock battery plates for more precise static and dynamic balance.
iKAN 8000HDMI monitor.
Power outs on the upper D box and the lower junction box.
2 video outs on the lower junction box, 1 video input on the upper D box.
Rig was built with the REDONE in mind. The wiring in the sled is 14 AWG. With the heavier gauge there are no worries about overloading the system or power drop. Also, with the heavier wiring there are no worries about melting the wires inside the post, as some pro level rigs costing thousands more have issues with. Two separate circuits, one for the camera and accessories up top and one dedicated for accessories at the bottom. 10 amp push to reset breakers on the lower stage.

ARM;
2 section adjustable arm. Made from machined aluminum.
Industry standard Titanium socket block.
weight capacity 25 lbs
Industry standard 5/8 post will fit most pro sleds.

VEST;
Adjustable vest with industry standard socket block.
sized for persons between 5'7" and 5'10".

Docking Bracket with 5/8 balancing stud and hook for arm. You can just see it in pic number 2.

A great rig that would easily cost twice the asking price. This rig does not come with batteries.
*Note; Vest not pictured but is part of the sale. Also the C stand is not included but could be purchased for an additional $325.00. Also, a weight plate is needed for lighter cameras like the 5D pictured. That is also extra. If anyone is interested a pic can be sent of the vest.*

The rig has all the adjustments a pro level rig offers.

About being only 12 volts; most productions are flying some type of HD camera now and most are only 12 volts. Film is not dead, but if you find yourself flying a film camera most of the time then this rig is not for you and I envy you:) This rig can fly some of the 16mm film cameras ie; ARRI SR's I II or III. They are 12 volt. Basically any camera 25 lbs or under and 12 volt will work on this rig.

Hey Andrew,
yes I do have footage from it. Here is the link,

http://www.douglasjohnkropla.com/sofsteadicamclip.html
Now a few things to mention here, all the shots are me alone, no 1st AC or grip to block the wind. The last clip is part of a 10 minute non stop low mode shot. That was tiring. I forgot to mention there is a J bracket as part of the sale, or did?
As for a video walk around, I have tried those before. They can be long and still don't give you a good idea of the capabilities.
The arm is a copy of the FLYER LE in that tension is adjusted by a vertical threaded SS rod. Check the clip and I will see about better pics.
