FS: Custom Decal Stickers

Alright so i bought a vinyl cutting machine
at the moment i only have this greenish blueish vinyl (see picture)

but have black, gold, and white (the gold is shiny too) ordered right now just waiting for them to arrive

im sure theres some people on here that want custom die cut stickers made to put on their boxes of gear, cameras or whatever this greenish blueish vinyl is actually just wall vinyl and i dont know how well it holds up for out doors and such

but the white black and gold (on order) have a 5 year rating for outdoor use and a lifetime for indoor and i will post a picture of the rolls once they get here

so all i would need is a decent quality picture (as big as you want the sticker)
i can only do from 8 inches tall x 39 inches wide (roughly)
the one big sticker in the picture is 31 inches
and dotdotdot is the clothes/filming company/everything that i am starting
and Mustache Media is a friends production company

but just seeing if theirs interest, prices will be cheap compaired to anywhere else and will be just as professional as you can tell from the photos

basically if i screw up on yours i will redo it until its right

but i would say a rough estimate for price would be 10 bucks + shipping (probably like 1 - 2$) for 20 stickers of a reasonable size

any 39 inch long stickers would be i guess $7 each + shipping

as i get more orders (if any) my colour list and vinyl collection will grow, i can also buy flex vinyl which is heat transferable onto 100% cotten shirts and they say it does crack like cheap tshirt transfers but it will only be in single colours

any questions just post here
any orders you can post here or email me at dotdotdotsnow@gmail.com

the more intricate design the harder it is for me too do, so some designs might have to be larger in size

i do it through illustrator but any file format should be alright

I like this and will for sure take advantage of it! I need to label my gear, maybe throw a couple on my bags/cases, etc and wherever else I can find.

I'll let you know as soon as I get a high rez version of my logo done. Great idea once again!

cool, well glad theres a bit of interest. if their is a specific colour you want i can order it but it will take longer to finish them.

and i work downtown toronto if any body wants to pick-up instead of get them shipped

I'd do it also.

My own brother has a vinyl cutting machine and I'd still order from you at those prices.

Let us know when you're taking orders!

As a tip, you might want to get some light to medium gray for shadows. It's just the exact same decal... and you put the colored one on top (shifted of course)... and it really makes the logos pop. You can offer that as an up-charge.

And also be sure to let people know clearly what format you want the files in. Make it easy on yourself.

I hope you start doing this, because I'd be all about it.

If Jared would let you... I can imagine that a BIG DVXuser logo would sell quite well here. Something about 12" wide for $9.95 each.

Well my new logo is black and white, so that should be perfect and I can even pick it up downtown - fantastic.

I'll be sure to let you know shortly Tyler,

yea i could definatly start doing a dvxuser logo (with consent) and ofcourse mods could get a few free for running this awesome site

and mods if this thread is breaking any rule just let me know or delete the thread

the shadows is a good idea at a premium but i would have to test some out myself before i would actually make any to make sure i could do it properly

and for file format: adobe illustrator files i think its .ai, or pdf or eps all work

and ofcourse if anyone wants to purchase a dotdotdot sticker the option is there

im just east of toronto
but will be working right by union station mon - fri for the next little while

fast signs and signarama (and a million other signshops) already do this. granted not at the price of 20 4"x8" for $10. but you will learn in short time that that price is kind of unrealistic. when you have to switch out vinyl rolls 20 times a day, redraw someones logo from their crappy full color business card, and prepare and send packages by mail, etc, etc... that $10 gets eaten up pretty quickly leaving you in a tight spot.

not trying to pee on your picnic or anything. but ive worked in and around sign shops in the past and it just seems to me that you really havent thought this out well as far as a price/cost of doing business standpoint. and would hate for you to get 20 orders in and find that in the end, its COSTING you money to do the work...
