I've been asked if I can post photos of the mattebox. This will happen by end-of-day as the camera I was using is on the fritz. Please stand by... and thanks for looking.

Is this still available?

Can you use the trays with 4x 5.65 Panavision style Vertical filters?
Do you have clamp on accessories for HVX200 (82mm ring)?

Why are you selling it?

Lenny,

Yes this is still available. It is 4x4 only. I'm a Cavision full-line dealer, so I will include the adapters you need for the HVX200.

This was a mattebox we used on our DVX100(a) and Z1U cameras. Selling it is simply a bit of housekeeping.

Hey Overland, can we see a shot of your rods with the indiFocus? I am wondering how the lower plate and the indi clamp are positioned. Whats the best way to avoid the threaded thumb screw hitting the tripod plate on say a bogen tripod?

soarprod,

Tell me if these answer your questions? This is the Cavision RS15IIm in the "C" configuration / Cavision MB4169-H2 / indiFOCUS Universal.

You must reverse the Cavision rods from the "S" configuration to the "C" to fit the HVX with geared or gearless follow-focus units.

Thanks a lot! That helps. Sorry to jack your thread...Mine is in a reverse C when looking at yours. Your tripod plate is a lot thicker than the 519 that I have - is that a 525 or 526?

Do you know a good way to clamp on the indiFocus without it preventing you from removing the camera from the tripod? The 519 I have only slides in from the back side of the tripod plate adapter which means the thumb screw hits the plate and prevents you from removing the camera when the indiFocus is installed.

Don't worry about it... I think the mattebox is sold anyway. Well, this is the 516, the non-interchangable cartridge version of the 519. The previous model was the 3066, which uses the same heavy notched wedge plate. It slides all the way through, so we don't have an issue mounting the camera from the front.

This also allows us to keep the dual grips on the camera to break off for handheld work in a jiffy.
