All glass on lenses is immaculate, both lenses have had UV filters on them since day 1. These are EF-S lenses, meaning they are designed to be used specifically with crop body DSLRs. At certain focal ranges these lenses can be combined with a 35mm adapter and EF mount (I happen to be selling an SGPro R3 Canon EF mount for $50, they go for about $70+shipping from Shoot35 at the moment).
