FS: Canon 7d w/ Stock Lens basically brand new

let me see how things go tomorrow... if i get the restocking fee then i won't do it... in which case i will let you know and you can give me the full specs on your pro... is it the new unibody? what size screen? we can deal with it all tomorrow.
 
haven't made it there yet actually... forgot the wall charger at home this morning so i have to go back home on my lunch break to get that and then after work will go by best buy... will let you know this evening...
 
took the 7d back to best buy today. because it was past the return date they had to give me best buy store credit. so now i have a lot of best buy store credit and would gladly buy someone something... i will give you a deal and make it worth your time to use me instead of getting it yourself... just let me know
 
i could buy the camera and then trade you it for your mbp and cash... tell me which mbp it is and how much cash you were thinking, also where are you located... why don;t' you send me a pm so everyone doesn't have to see our chatter
 
So you were able to use the camera for over 30 days and get everything back as store credit, or did they charge a restocking fee? I'm curious with the store credit would you be able to say but another 7d or a computer or something and then return that for cash, or would anything you buy with store credit only be eligible for store credit as a return?

Also does the store credit come as a gift card? I only ask because often on ebay when cashback is at a high percentage people sell giftcards for buy it now prices that are higher that the price of the card. So you might be able to sell a $1900 gift card for $2000. That hundred dollar difference would cover the cost of paypal and ebay fees and you would be able to get your money back.
 
yeah good call justin... been looking at gift cards and seeeing them sell for more than amount but it is mostly target and wal-mart that are doing that and not as much best buy...

i was able to get the full amount back with no restocking fee but that might have something to do with being a silver membership... not sure... the manager had to approve it since it was over the 30 days...

i can buy anything with the store credit, except gift cards. it was given back to me on a card but the card says "store credit" on it. i wish i could break it up but they won't do it. it all had to be put back on one card. i could buy another 7d or anything else in the store but if i returned that i believe it would be returned as store credit- i suppose i could ask, but that is the only thing that makes sense to me...
