FS: broken ipod video

i have a 30 gb black ipod video and im sure it can be fixed, i havnt dropped it and the hard drive is fine, i havnt it used it for a while and yesterday i tried turning it on and charging it etc. and nothing has worked... im sure it can be fixed but i live over seas and i dont feel like going through months of sending to apple for a replacemnt and what not.. i dont have paypal and im looking for straight up money or check order.. im looking for a 100 for this and im pretty sure it will cost less than 100 to fix... please i need money!! anyone im up for negotiations, please PM me if interested cosmetically its is in great condition with no scratches on the screen!! please take this off my hands!!

You know the same thing happened to me. My cable broke to connect to the computer so I couldn't charge, when I go to play it (a month later, of course.) nothing, won't charge (got a new cable (USB/AC Adapter), won't turn on. Not that big a deal though, since I don't really use it.
 
My Ipod-mini had the same issue, I believe I just fiddled around with the buttons for a bit and it worked fine after a few minutes of that. The battery was having issues.
 
i cant reset it, it doesnt turn on, and no i use limewire, but it wasnt having any problems.. i am not looking to fix it and open it up and mess it up even more, i just want to sell it
 
There's a manual way to reset it. Shoot me a PM and I'll try to help you out. It's a combination of "fiddling with the buttons" that gets it back on. It's happened to a lot of iPod hackers, myself included. -Kegan
 
hahaha you guys were right!!! i cahrged it at school this morning and it was fine lol someone coould have snagged a mint ipod off me for 100 without me even knowing haha.. im still selling it though, for 220, sounds reasonable, 80 dollars off well offer up!!!
 
Mine is screwed. Menu---> Select does not work. I charged it for 45 minutes and then tried it, nothing... charged it afterwards, nothing.
