UPDATE: Price is now $1,500 for everything, OR $1,300 minus the rails system.

---

We shot a short film the last weekend of May, and we've finally assembled all the footage and decided that we won't need a re-shoot.

SO we're now selling the Brevis35 we used during production; it was used for three production test and two days of shooting (the Brevis was shipped from Cinevate on April 30th of this year). I'll attach a complete equipment list below, but pretty much what you're getting is: the Brevis HD Imaging Bundle (w/ CF3L installed and CF1L), Adjustable Brevis-to-Rails Mount, Redrock Rod Support (w/ 18" rods), and two Nikkor lenses (50mm F1.4, and 24mm F2.8) with three Redrock Lens Gears.

Brevis shipped with the CF1L, and we later installed the CF3L. Includes everything you'd need to start shooting 'out of the box.'

We were really happy with the set-up, but the project is over and we no longer need the adapter. We paid just over $2,200 for everything included, and we're selling it for $1,600 [if you not interested rod support set-up (it's not required to shoot with the Brevis), we'll sell everything else for $1,400].

If you live in the LA/OC area, I am willing deliver the Brevis in person and you can inspect it / test it / whatever -- and I'd even help you install it if you'd like. (If you live anywhere else, we can work out shipping).

If you're interested, or have any questions just let me know: adair@toms-undies.org, or PM.

Again, selling the complete package for $1,600. Complete equipment list and pictures below.

Thanks, -Adair

NIce setup. I should let you know however, a brand new Brevis rev2 that just came out, with all the fixings plus the matte box and follow focus come out to $1900.

sorry to rain on your parade... just trying to help you move a very cool item...

Your info is incorrect, there is not follow focus for that price. Also, he has the Redrock rods, lens gears, etc. He also has the additional imaging element...

ash =o)

OK, so it's not the follow focus complete kit on the brevis site, it's the follow focus gears. And with the 3L, it comes out to 2268.

Like i said, it's very cool, and i'm very interested..

any chance of selling the matte box with it?

Thanks to both AshG and Marc F for the input.

I would just add a couple of things: because we mixed and matched from both Cinevate and Redrock (and I think we came out better for it), it would be difficult to price the entire package by only visiting the Cinevate site. BUT if you did want to price a comparable Cinevate-only package, I think it would be fair to add three Cinevate 'Follow Focus Gears' to your cart because the 'Redrock Lens Gear Kit' we are selling is three gears of varying sizes (AND please keep in mind that I'm definitely not contending that they are the same product, or that you would absolutely need three lens gears -- I just think it's a closer estimation).

That would give you a Cinevate only price of $2,049.62 USD (this does not include the matte box). Add the two Nikon lenses, and you're definitely somewhere over the $2,200 price range.

If anyone would like the exact numbers we paid for any (or all) of the below items, shoot me an e-mail (adair@toms-undies.org) or a PM -- it's already compiled.

Finally, I would also just add that the price of $2,049.62 (or $1,900 or $2,268) is not entirely accurate. Please keep in mind that with Cinevate (unless you are paying with check or money order) you are actually paying in Canadian dollars. So $2,049.62 USD is actually $2,277.36 CAD, and you are then at the mercy of Paypal's current exchange rate.

That is absolutely not Cinevate's fault (it would be impossible to continually update their website to reflect Paypal's current exchange rate), but the US Dollar isn't what it used to be (it isn't even what it was three months ago) -- and, in our case, it actually ended up costing us about $75 more than we had anticipated.

All that being said, feel free to make me an offer. :)

Thanks, again.
-Adair

ps... the follow-focus and matte box pictured are actually property of ProHDRentals.com, sorry.
