SOLD: Bogen Manfrotto 503 tripod head (with extra pan handle)

An excellent head! This was purchased less than two years ago; gently used and well-taken care of. Was recently serviced by Bogen under their lifetime guarantee policy so the unit is in "like-new" condition.

I'm selling it because I'm upgrading my head to one that is more heavy-duty (my HVX200/35mm adapter rig is quite weighty and the 503 head doesn't really cut it).

Available in the Los Angles area for pick-up.

Well, actually, I suppose I would consider it. It's just that I prefer a local buyer who can inspect it hands on and then either take it or leave it. This head is beautiful though so I reckon you'd have no qualms about it.

The last time I shipped something it was to another country and a big pain in the arse. But I suppose D.C. isn't too much of a problem, as long as you cover the shipping cost plus an extra 3% with Paypal. I'll PM you to discuss.

Yes. The 503 head will work wonderfully.

Yes, my price is firm. Like I said, I just had the thing serviced at Bogen and it is now in like-new condition. It looks like they replaced the head or at least a large portion of it. Virtually no scratch on it!

The cheapest, new 503 head (on Froogle.com) is going for $254.00 at Tri State Camera (http://www.tristatecamera.com/lookat.php?refid=263&sku=BOG3460). I don't know the validity of this, but all the prices elsewhere start shooting up and up.

I'm selling my like-new 503 head for $225.00 and I'm throwing in an extra pan handle (a $30-something dollar value). So buy from me; you'll get a great product and save some money.
