Beachtek DXA-4 XLR Adapter

Some markings on the body. No damage. Only used about a dozen times. I am the original owner.

would this work on a dvc30, or is it just sony vx/fx's? if it does, what price range are you looking for?
 
I am not familiar with the DVC30, but I assume as long as it has an 1/8th inch audio input, it should work.

Brand new at B&H they are $180. This is used, but well taken care of. I have had no use for it since selling my VX2000 last year.

I will consider any fair offer.
 
I'm not sure why, but it seems to only be compatible with Sony VX and FX cameras.

If anyone knows more about this, please post.
 
The way I understand it, it's not a matter of compatibility necessarily, it's just that the DXA-4 was designed to fit neatly underneath the Sony cams. The DXA-4P has pretty much the same features, but a slightly different form factor to neatly fit underneath the GL1 and GL2. As it happens, the 4P also fits quite nicely under the Panasonic DVC7 and seems to work just fine with it as well in some very quick-and-dirty testing I've done.
 
If it's still forsale in the middle of april, I might look into getting this, but no promises...
