FS 700 Camera Cage

I have the cametree cage itself, not the rest of those items in the kit.

the cage is ok. It fits well but it's not a fine crafted piece of gear. It's heavy and you might find the paint scratches off easily, but it does it's job. It's basically a knockoff of the Movcam design that sells for $1000 more. (for just the cage)
 
I have the Movofilms version, which is just a rebranded Camtree, I think... used it for a bit but it made the camera too heavy and for shoulder use to front heavy...

Anyone have experience using a similar thing? I think it would be the ideal thing for me... whether I use it with a cage or without. I also shoot live performances with my A7S and can see it being useful for that!
