Just wanted to let folks know that there are some b-stock FS-5s being sold on e-Bay by Provideo and Tape in Portland Oregon. I recently purchased one of them and it was, as stated by Mitchell, a company rep, actually an unused, brand new item at a savings of about $500. Ground shipping was free. This comes with a full Sony warranty. I am on the East Coast and wouldn't normally purchase from a West Coast company, but the savings was well worth it. Just wanted to let folks know about it. Have no idea how many of them they have in stock. You can also call them directly, of course, since they are a brick and mortar business.
