Timing is everything. No sooner did I get the converter than the project was scrubbed.

The lens is absolutely new, never mounted on camera.
Purchased 2 wk ago. The box was opened just so I could see what it looked like.

Comes with original box and instructions.

Also included is a copy of Barry Greens excellent booklet
covering all aspects of the 16:9 converter...very informative.

Price is $750.

Shipping is $15.

I might be interested, but if you only bought it 2 weeks ago, why not simply return it? Any decent and reputable vendor will accept returns for 30 days.

Returning to the seller is a good idea in theory.
In this instance the... no exceptions 20% restocking fee...is not attractive. :(

20% restocking fee? Ouch! I guess that makes sense then...

Anyway, I still may be interested. I actually listed my DVX as for sale the other day, but so far interest in it has been surprisingly low. I wouldn't mind selling it, but then there's nothing to upgrade to probably until the pro version of Sony's FX1 HDV camera arrives. And I'm not sure if that will be the way to go or not. So I'm thinking it may make more sense to just buy the anamorphic lens for my DVX to round out my kit and make a bit more effort to actually use this camera I spent a fair chunk of money on. :-/
