Good afternoon guys!
So here's the deal:
I have a 16:9 panasonic anamorphic adapter that I would like to sell - it's in good condition, no scratches, etc. - but there is one problem (dun dun dun).
As most people know, with these lenses, dust can easily be trapped between the elements. This is the problem I currently have.
Since I barely use this adapter, I have no initiative to attempt to get it cleaned (I'd rather have a professional do it then attempt it myself - and I had a bit of a run around when I called panasonic that turned me off to getting it cleaned
EDIT:: the runaround was the following - panasonic referred me to their New York store. I called the New York store, and the person I talked to gave me an earful and sounded angry; all over me asking "can you please help me?" He told me to do it myself, even though I said I'd pay to clean it... Then he said if I couldn't do it, call him back. Again, in a somewhat "angered" voice. So theres hope, I just gave up).
But after that long note! ... Plus, with the location I am in, amazing camera shops aren't in the proximity (it's sad).
So!
Here's the deal. I'll send pictures, video footage, anything! I jsut want to try to give this lens a good home.
Since I don't know the specifications of this lens (other than how to use it), I don't know if having the dust particles inside makes it a "lost cause" or not. I figure if SOMEONE can easily clean it, or has a buddy that works at a camera shop - it shouldn't be too hard of a task.
I will take BEST OFFERS - and I'm not setting any certain price - just shoot over offers you think may be worth it.
I'm sure this will interest someone (hopefully) - and this is why I posted it.
