I got an fs-100 from a client that i know is a windows user (not sure if that matters) and i am unable to mount it on my mac. i need to get this footage asap but no matter what i try, my computer just won't recognize it; any idea what this could be? thanks in advance for any help...

Not sure if you need to do this on a Mac but did you go into HD Mode on the FS-100 and enable DD Drive after you connected it to your Mac?
Are you powering the FS-100 with the power supply or the battery?

My guess is you've not followed the "enable DD Drive" process on the FS-100.
