FS-100 Smooth Slow Record and a little bit of the F3

Although I appreciate all of the jobs I get to be a part of every once in awhile one comes along that stands out for one reason or another. This was one of those jobs for me.
We used two cameras a FS-100 and a F3. Lens on the FS-100 was the Zeiss/Sony 24-70 and a Zeiss zf100 the F3 was wearing an Angeneiux DP Optimo 32-80.
The F3 was recording Slog to Prores4444. I wanted post to be able to grade both cameras similarly so I created a very flat look in the FS-100.
I really made it flat, skin tones were actually gray when they went down.
The F3 was always ment to be the A cam we were shooting it at 23.98.
The FS-100 was also shot at 23.98 for cut aways but we also did a pass with the Smooth Slow Record function.
The editor and DP liked SSR footage so much they put this little piece together.
This clip was the first rough cut for dalies and just a quick first pass CC.
The porposefully flat gray skin tones originally recorded on the FS-100 graded back to a pleasant creamy look. (thankfully whew!)
I believe with another pass the skin tones could warm up just a little.
The last two shots are the F3.
The piece should help to illustrtate the capabilities of the little FS-100.
