hey

will the fs-100 record both pal and ntsc (obviously depending on what camera you have) or are they specific in some way?

Is there any possibility, to change an existign NTSC FS-100 to PAL? Maybe with special Software? I order in a mistake a NTSC FS-100 but need one in PAL. I'm not able to change the item, but I think the information NTSC or PAL recording for this item must be only a Software information or any configuration option, so I don't think, that the Hardware is other, or? I can't find any configuration option to do this. Is here anybody, which can help me please?
 
You'll most probably have to send it back for exchange from who every you bought it from. They don't change from NTSC to PAL with any sort of software update, sorry.
 
I made the same mistake - I'm in the UK and brought one from the US (much cheaper!) and only found out after it arrived that it was NTSC. I asked if it was poss to reformat it, but apparently not. Fortunately, I was able to return mine.
