FS 100 FW screwing up my FW port

I think they should really redesign this. it is just not well thought out. after no abnormal use or abusiveness, I've come to believe that shooting with my fs day in and day out (EVERYDAY) is sadly wearing out the FW port in my hvx-200. NOT GOOD. whenever I reconnect after disengagement, i am always crossing my fingers, "what if it doesn't fit?" because the contacts seem to be overly weighted DOWN and so forth. today, the contacts were clearly #$@%@#%ed up due to the cable. ANY SOLUTIONS? Let me know. I try taping for extra support. ok, taping an $1900 unit is not what i expected to be doing. pffffffdtd

I had to manually coax down the contacts and use another cable. ratcheted up my stress of course. OTHER THAN THAT, SINCE iT WENT IN FOR REPAIR, it has been cool. ordered the extra juice battery so I don't have to wig out about power.
 
Someone on here sells a little adapter that plugs into the firewire port and the mic at the same time, it's like a little block that adds support by pluggin into both. Then you plug in firewire and the mic into that. I can't remember the name of it and can't seem to find the link though.
