FS-100 Dropout

We start shooting, stop , and then from time to time the FS-100 won't start recording again. Is this a firmware or hardware issue most likely? I saw another post about dropouts but it was back in June and I purchased my fs-100 in Sept.
 
Always make sure your FS-100 is running the latest firmware....version 2.0.1 was released a couple weeks ago. Go to the SETUP menu and scroll down to Version to display the current version. You can download FS-100 firmware updates from... http://www.focusinfo.com/support/downloads.asp I also recommend registering your product, as you will be notified when new releases are available.
