FS-100 3.0 720P/24P No Play Back w/ Quicktime PN

I'm in Hawaii shooting a doc. and this Firestore FS-100 has just not been reliable. I followed all the threads and the proper protocols for setup on both the HVX and the FS-100 using the 3.0 upgrade but as I recorded using 720P/24P using Quicktime PN it would constantly stop recording consistently in ten to fifteen intervals. And now on playback via HVX I just get jagged pixelated lines. I try to pop the file back on to the Mac and try to get quicktime to read the file but it gives it a file error. Right now, I can do a great NPR interview, but my footage looks like it's dead and today I'm going to be forced to shoot 480P on DV.

Any help would greatly be appreciated!

How about shooting 720P/24P but shoot in p2. If you know that setting works.
Try this I know it sounds weird switch fire-wire cable. I had communication issues with the firestore. I wish I was in Hawaii shooting a doc. No I am in Mpls waiting for a storm to pass.
