Hope you all don't mind my english. Want to share some thought from the FS700 to FS7 Mark II.

Just got the FS7 Mark II today. Before I'm take my money out, my target is take a Scarlet-w HOME! BTW, you all know need wait a very long time.

I'm using the FS700 and 7Q for 4 years. Most of my friends tell me don't go to the FS7 mkII because the quality are SAME.

I'm totally agree BUT most of my clients they are tired to shoot everything in s-log2 and when shoot in green screen they just want normal Rec709 color. But again, FS700 can't do with 4K quality. You all know 7Q in 709 color have many many color noise which is very hard to key in post.

First, the only thing that FS7 II can do for me: shoot 4K in normal color. Second, one solid body makes me easier for run n gun shooting.

After I take it home, I play it for 4 hours. I found that this camera are totally different to the FS700!!! SO much new thing I need to learn e.g. Custom mode hyper gammer, Cine EI mode. It is totally different. Firstly I thought it would have a menu like "custom picture profile". But I found that I can import LUTs thought the sd card and directly record it!!!! I know you will not suggest me record the luts in-camera but in some case I think I will do that.

I still want the red scarlet-w. it is small and powerful. Most of my clients now they shoot in 4K. Some of them need 100fps which only FS700+7Q can do. The FS700 just like my brother. The first time from 5D2 jump into FS700 slow motion. My clients all get "WOW". It makes me more and more job opportunity in this 4 years. And now I think the gear race should end. Put more time of the picture quality to keep my clients love me.

Thanks all.
