Greetings Fresno area people! I'm looking for an HD camera owner who wouldn't mind collaborating on a short film project.
Little background on myself... born and raised in Fresno, I graduated with a degree in video production from Fresno State last May. I currently live in Los Angeles working at FOX Studios, but I'm looking to shoot this thing in Fresno. I've been making short films since 2001. My films have been shown in the Fresno area on numerous occasions (Art Hop, Tower Theater, Fresno State) and in small festivals across the US and Canada. So I'm not just some random guy! Haha.
Anyway, my writing/acting friend has written an 8-page script and we're looking to experiment in HD (DVCPROHD, HDV, XDCAM, RED, whatever!). I myself own a DVX100A.
DETAILS: Shoot will be 2 days. The script is very minimal: no dialogue, 2 locations, 2 actors, some background. You don't need to worry about anything but operating, we'll take care of the rest! If you want to be more involved, awesome! But that's up to you. We're flexible on dates, but are currently looking at the beginning of August. I'm a low/no-budget operation, so unfortunately I can only offer credit/copy/fun times. If anyone is interested, let me know and I'll forward along the script!
Looking forward to collaborating with some other Fresno filmmakers!
