I haven't talked with him in about a month. He hasn't been on AIM--presumably he's been too busy editing. Just e-mail him (his address is on his website); he's a nice guy and should get back to you soon. He's very busy though, I believe.

You said you match is file setting for the B roll which came out looking like the main shoot. What was the file settings? Can you please post them.

Matt as always does astounding work. He has GOT to be loving this job.

I'd like to know how he shot the clips where the singer has a white background, backlighting, so detail is blown out a bit, but you still get the right skin tone. Whenever I try to do these kinds of shots, I never get the lighting right.

Well Im pretty good friends with matt and the white blown out background was just really a white bed sheet with a bunch of peices of paper scattered around with lights on them (no 100% right this is second hand also)

Also he only has the dvx100 and it is currently not working or not working right, he might have broken it during this shoot.

Also policecar, lets see the behind the scenes buddy!

I seen a fully edited version , actually 2 different ones so far and the whole thing is great, he should have the final out soon. And I will also try to get him on here to answer some more of your questions seeing that policecar knows alot but there is still some unanswered questions out there.

Thanks for the feedback :D. I'll answer any questions and be around once the video is completed. I'm looking at the 30th as a personal deadline. The artist is being extremely picky about the video. Fortunately, we have yet to run into any serious disagreements. Stay tuned.

That was unreal! How did you shoot that? Camera Setting "f5 or F6"? Did you edit in true 24p timeline or 29.97 timeline? Thanks, Dave

Neither f5 nor f6, although settings closest to f5. 24pA edited in a 24fps timeline I believe.

Does MAtt have any special plugin packs or any sort of filters that he uses? I want to buy some of those plugins! I need some more effects and transitions!
