Free Tascam Portastudio 424 (broken, for parts)

[Jarek Zabczynski]

I have a Tascam Portastudio 424. It's broken. I took it apart a few years ago to try to fix it but didn't know what I was doing. I'm gonna toss it if no one wants it.

I'll take a shot at fixing it.

Let me know the shipping cost and I'd love to try and fix it.

I think I have a "buyer" already. I'll let you know if it doesn't work out. Shipping was like $12 or something. Don't think it's fixable. Smoke came out of it before.

Smoking!

Smoking!

Ah yes, smoke is a terrible thing. I hope it wasn't near any other equipment. They say that second hand smoke is more dangerous.
