Hi, everyone.
I've been learning more about music composition and sound for film, and decided that the best way to practice is on a real project. I have been composing on and off for over 5 years now, including a few scores and soundtracks for student projects during the past few years.
I would like to offer my services in composing music for you, guys. For free, of course. It would be great to try to exercise myself on projects of different sorts and genres, though if a lot of requests are posted (I hope there will be one, at least
), I can't promise to help each and everyone out. I have a temporary job to keep my audio needs alive too, you know .
For the curious - I use Cubase. The instruments I use for inspiration, new ideas, and just mindless slamming, are guitar (acoustic Japanese from 1969 and Fender Mustang reissue), piano (CME UF6), and, hopefully soon enough, drums (poor neighbours).
All in all, music is not [yet] a full time job, but I do strive for perfection.

P.S. Sorry for a somewhat cliched thread title. I went for the good old "Free Hat" trick.
P.S.S. I am now running a small Compaq linux server, so the website is finally available 24/7. I have also installed other services on it, like SSH and FTP, so it's possible to make remote collaboration easier - I can work on tracks, upload them onto the FTP server, and, conversely, others can upload files for me to work on to the server .

- Caged (QuickTime | Windows Media) - the latest project I have worked on. So far, this is my best score, and I'm usually pretty harsh about my own work. I wasn't the director or writer on this one, and my job was all of the post-production.
