Free P2 Cards with HVX Purchase...DENIED

Ok...so I bought the HPX500 on Oct 6th...registered on PASS and sent in my rebate form. Friday I received a letter from the rebate center stating that, "The purchase was outside of the program guidelines". Am I missing something here? Has anyone had a similar experience?

The "Everybody wins Promotion", hasn't left me feeling like a winner. Does anyone have any suggestings?

Did you register for the PASS five year warranty before you submitted the form for the free cards?

That would be the only thing that I could see would be trouble for you.

If you did register for PASS first like it says you have to do then I would call Panasonic Warranty Customer Service and B & H Customer Service to see why your cameras serial number is having trouble getting the two free cards.

Hello Bliss,
Offer the camera back to B & H and you will get results, sad these days you have to "push" to get what marketing offers are made prior to a sale.

I called the company that handles the rebates for Panasonic...they told me the offer had expired. I explained the latest offer to them and they promised to resubmit it. It's a little scary when the company processing the rebates isn't on top of their game.

Thanks for the feedback and let you know if the cards magically appear.

Hi Bliss,
Commonsense would dictate that if you bought a product the freebies would be packaged with it at the point of sale.
it a trend that has crept into marketing these days, sad that many so called "Bonuses" are not what they seem.
Plus, If the p2 cards were not so expensive it would be a non issue.
